Along the same lines of Amy is chronically late to all of the parties, I recently started doing English Paper Piecing.
And I love it!! I didn't really think I would because I haaaate hand stitching binding. I machine stitch all of my bindings. So I thought that I wouldn't enjoy any hand sewing. But I really enjoy this. I'm taking my time with it, though. I started this in August and still have a way to go. This project made me realize that I'm old now and I need old lady reading glasses. Sigh.
And I got the Peacock enamel pin at Quilt Market in October! Someone who was in my booth was wearing it on her nametag. I got super excited and told her I was working on that pattern right now and asked if I could buy the pin from her. I think maybe I'm supposed to sell things to people in my Quilt Market booth instead of buying things from them. Hmm.
There are so many cool enamel pins out there lately that I covet. I may start collecting them because, you know, it was all the rage a year and a half ago...
