Tonight was the monthly meeting of the Madison Modern Quilt Guild.
Being a member of a quilt guild can help you get education, inspiration, feedback and advice, friendships and camaraderie, and more.
There was a zipper pouch swap tonight. I think there were 35 pouches exchanged! Each one had $25 worth of goodies inside.
These are a few of my favorite quilts from Show & Tell, even though there was plenty more!
An improv memorial quilt.
Red and blue wonky stars.
Ombre solids improv by Kim from Persimon Dreams.
And Ron Swanson!!
We finished the evening with a craft project. This was the first time we've done this type of activity at the meeting, but it was a big hit, so I think there may be more of the short craft project type of activities in the future.
There was much whining by certain people.
I rocked the craft project. Just saying.
